For years, I have focused on helping companies and non-profits reach their bottom-line goals by helping to drive sales, involvement, and support. I've worked on a variety of software products and web sites, retail consumer products, and science and education projects. As my experience grows and my skill set deepens, I've chosen to remain an independent consultant so that I can continue doing the "grunt" work that I enjoy: writing, communicating, strategizing, building relationships. I don't want to pitch your business and then turn the significant effort over to a junior staffer (although I'm willing to hire out simple tasks to save clients' money). I perform all phases of communications efforts: creating targeted plans and written materials, researching key contacts for traditional and new media and conducting focused outreach to those targets, developing influencer and affiliate relationships, building out multi-faceted content programs, and integrating social media elements through everything.
