Laura Evans

Vice President of Education, Georgia Public Broadcasting
Laura serves as Vice President of Education at Georgia Public Broadcasting. Her role includes planning and implementing education projects and overseeing the development and distribution of educational content for Georgia's teachers and students. Previously, she served as Instructional Learning Manager at Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning where she managed curriculum and instruction initiatives, including the development of resources and training for Georgia’s early learning programs. Laura taught middle grades and high school English language arts and journalism for 11 years. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Journalism. She also received her Master's degree in English Education and her Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.
